‘Food Frenzy’

How to Enter

To enter Food Frenzy at Metcentre:

1. Promotional staff will hand out free instant win scratch cards to customers in-centre Monday to Friday, from Monday 23 August until Friday 10 September 2010.
2. Additional scratch cards will be distributed by participating food retailers to customers that spend $10 or more on food in centre from Monday 23 August until Friday 10 September 2010.
3. Customers scratch the removable silver latex panel to reveal if they are an instant winner.
4. If a winner, tear off the section containing the prize details and present it to the retailer listed under the latex to claim their prize.
5. Winners and non-winners can fill in their details, to go into the major draw to win one (1) $1,000 RedBalloon Gift Certificate, detach this section and place it in the entry barrel. The entry barrel is located on the ground floor level of Metcentre at the top of the Woolworths escalators in-centre.
6. Customers can redeem instant win prizes and enter the Major Draw until the competition closes on Friday 17 September 2010.

Duration of Competition

The competition opens at 7am on Monday 23 August 2010 and closes at 5pm on Friday 17 September 2010 or when all 100,000 scratch cards are distributed, whichever comes first.

Conditions of Entry

1. Information on ‘how to enter’ forms part of these ‘Conditions of Entry’.
2. One (1) Scratch card will be received per purchase of $10 or more from participating food retailers OR received directly from the promotional staff.
3. Additional $2 tokens will be issued via the Envirobank machine for every 5th successfully recycled aluminium can or plastic bottle. These can be used in conjunction with an instant win scratch card or individually at any food retailer on a minimum purchase of $10 or more.
4. Only one (1) scratch card and one (1) Envirobank token can be redeemed at one time on a minimum purchase of $10 or more at the designated retailer listed on the prize section.
5. A minimum spend of $10 or more must be made to redeem a free $5 instant win prize.
6. To be valid, each entry must be on a fully completed Food Frenzy scratch card, and placed in the competition barrel located on the ground floor of Metcentre at the top of the Woolworths escalators in-centre.
7. Entry is only open to Australian residents.
8. Customers must present the instant win scratch card at the nominated food retailer to redeem their prize. Retailers will keep the scratch card as proof of redemption.
9. Entries received after the close date of 5pm on Friday 17 September 2010 will not be considered.
10. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entry forms.
11. Entries will not be accepted via post.
12. Entries illegible, forged, mutilated, copied or tampered with in any way will not be considered.
13. Employees and the immediate families of the; Promoter, agencies associated with this promotion and Centre Management are ineligible to enter. Immediate families means parents, siblings, spouse, children and grandparents.
14. Management and staff of Metcentre retailers are not permitted to enter.
15. The prize-winner must provide suitable photo identification to the promoters’ satisfaction to be entitled to claim the prize e.g. driver licence, passport.
16. If the prize-winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s nominated parent or guardian on their behalf.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with the Conditions of Entry.
18. Terms and conditions of the individual stores that donate instant prizes will apply.
19. Instant prize vouchers must be redeemed at the store listed on the voucher by Friday 17 September 2010 in order to claim the prize.
20. The prize values are correct at the authorisation date of the competition. The Promoter is not responsible for any subsequent variation in values.
21. The prizes are not redeemable for cash and not transferable and must be taken as offered.
22. At the end of the competition, all existing claims for prizes and entitlements to claims will be met notwithstanding the advertised prize pool has been exceeded.
23. Any printing errors or other quality assurance matters outside the control of the individual entrant must not be used as a sole basis for refusing to award a prize.
